Went to see the lovely people at Bizarre magazine. Talked to Dave Kelsall (Art Director) about nipples, blood, rubber, tea and Sophie Howard. Also chatted about a possible placement next year, a feature on some of our work, and ideas for a rubber holiday shoot.

Also went to the offices of LIZ H . We showed our book to Bonnie, she was great and gave us a massive list of contacts. Some big places in London some smaller and one in Scotland. Bonnie also told us about OpenAd.net , check it out, looks like it could be pretty big.
Lastly went to see Adam Kean at Publicis . We also showed him our book and he seemed quite impressed. So we are going to get in contact soon about a possible placement there too.

Hey - Your trip sounds fantastic!
What' this book about then?
Sorry, my book is mine and Joes portfolio.
Really liked the relaxed atmosphere in Dennis (the publishing house of Bizarre magazine..& Viz & Mens Fitness) seemed a lot more chilled than the frantic images I'd predicted in a magazine office
...But one hour probably doesnt reflect the other 23 hours
Have you seen 'Deadline'? It's another celebrity show, this time they've got them working as journalists, definitely has a feisty air in that office. Probably because they don't have a clue what they are doing
Since we visited Bizarre, it seems Im noticing a lot more of the 'bizarre' in my daily reading - looking through the magazine shelves in the union I spotted a mag I used to read...I remembered 'Fortean Times' being just about Aliens > far from it, much like Bizarre magazine it covers all sorts of wacky happenings. Anyhoot, saw it on the shelf in the union today and seems to have changed a fair bit
check it out if you fancy some bad design and sickening stories
